Delete your 22chat account

Request deletion in the app

Sign in to 22chat, then open Me → Settings → Account and Security → Delete Account. Review the conditions, accept the deletion notice, and enter your account password to submit the request. The app signs you out when the request succeeds.

Request deletion without the app

Email bixinim888@gmail.com with the subject “22chat account deletion request”. Include the phone number or account ID linked to your account so we can verify ownership and process the request. Do not send your password or verification codes. You can use this route even if you have uninstalled the app.

What happens to your data

An in-app deletion request starts a 15-day cooling-off period. Signing in during that period cancels the request. After the period ends, we disable the account and delete or anonymize account identifiers, profile data, private relationships and content that is not needed by others.

Messages and group content shared with other participants may remain visible to them under an anonymized account identity. Financial records needed for accounting or disputes and limited security audit records may be retained where required for those purposes or by law. Stored media shared with another participant may remain while that participant has access. These retained records are kept separate from the public profile and handled under our Privacy Policy.
